We bid farewell to Mary Sue Thompson (Versailles, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 22, 2024 at the age of 86. Mary Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Francis and Ilou Frances Egalite. She is survived by: her husband Johnny C. Thompson; her daughters, Carla Webster (Paul) of Lexington, Janice Dumire (Jimmy) of Lebanon, Vicky Thurman (Bobby) of Lawrenceburg, Michelle Maxey (Tonia) of Stuart Virginia and Johnna Sinko (Laszlo) of Stuart, Florida; her brother George Egalite (Sue) of Williston; and her grandsons, Jeff Elam, John Gramig, Brandon Hilen, Justin Thurman, Jonathan McCormick, David Gramig, Michael Shryock and Ryan Sinko. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Versailles Presbyterian Church (130 N Main St, Versailles, KY 40383).
