He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther McEwan Cain, Sr. and Mary Sadie Carter Cain; his siblings, Ida Hill, Mary Lillian, Christine and Ben; and his son Charlie.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Sharon Meade (David), John Cain (Lucy), Margaret Watkins (Rusty) and Linda Graebe (Rick); his daughter-in-law Peggy Hall Monroe; and his brother-in-law John Wayne Webber (Marilyn). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
