He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Birchfield; his children, Christopher Michael Mullins (Hope) of Versailles, John Brian Mullins (Brianna) of Richmond and Mary Catherine Crum (Calvin) of Versailles; and his grandchildren, Carson Mullins, Gloria Mullins, Lillian Mullins, Delano Mullins, Emily Crum, Cooper Mullins, Hayden Robbins, Parker Mullins and Lauren Mullins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Birchfield Family Cemetery (135 Right Fork of Dry Branch, Pikeville, KY 41501).
