She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Richardson; her parents, Mathew Slusher and Thelma Jackson Slusher; and her son Steve Richardson. She is survived by: her children, Debra Cheak, Sharon Capello (Dean), Craig Richardson, Travis McAlister and Sarah Asbury; and her grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Katie, Hannah, Joe, Caroline, Micah, Olivia, Luci, Cole, Conner, Bella and Casen. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
