It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Woolums Thurman (Versailles, Kentucky), who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace "Sonny" Thurman; and her siblings, Joyce Slugantz and Kenny Woolums. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Smith (Terry); her siblings, Fay Slugantz and Cecil Woolums (Lola); her grandchildren, Johnathan Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Nate Beaton); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Jones and Martha Wright. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
