We bid farewell to Hernando Plata-Madrid of Versailles, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 18, 2024 at the age of 63. Hernando touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Gabrielle (Johanna Carvajal Cortez), Mackenzie and Griffin; his parents, Jaime Plata and Stella De Plata; his sister Adriana Plata (Mauricio Andrade); his aunt Maria Plata (Galo Vizcaiao); his uncles, Bernardo Plata and Mauricio Plata; his cousins, Alexandra, Emilio Gotchelin and Maria Mejia-Opaciuch (John Opaciuch); his siblings-in-law, Michael Martin (Tana) and Marlene Brown (Henry); and his mother-in-law Harriett Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
