It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Franklin Barnett (Versailles, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Barnett and Ora Pelphrey Barnett; his sons, Nathan Fitzpatrick and Kenny Barnett; and his great grandchild Luke Kincaid.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Tharp Barnett; his daughters, Katrinca Barnett (Jan Sexton) of Lawrenceburg, Kimberly Wallace of Lawrenceburg, Kristi Dupree (David) of Lawrenceburg and Sonya Martin (Craig); and his brother Wayne Barnett (Margaret). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
