With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Mae Gilbert (Versailles, Kentucky), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on April 6, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George E. Gilbert; her parents, Edwin Friebis and Helen Evans Friebis; and her sister Betty Schmidt. She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Gilbert and Hugh Gilbert (Tina); her granddaughter Naomi Ruth Gilbert; and her sister Karen Schurr (Lee).
Due to government mandates those attending services are required to wear proper facial coverings and maintain social distancing guidelines.
