He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hudson and Edna Margie Burris Hudson; his significant other Edith Douglas; and his brother Bobby Hudson. He is survived by: his siblings, Jody Treadway of Montgomery County, Grant Hudson of Powell County, Roy Clay Hudson of Owen County and Dudley Hudson (Donna) of Frankfort, KY; and his close friends, Lola Durban, Jerry Gardner, Jerry Long and Jessica King. He is also survived by several nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
