He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Grider; his son Daniel Ray Grider, Jr.; his grandson Ryan Scott Reed; and his siblings, Mildred Grider Lewis and Raymond Grider, Jr. (Daniel).
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Phillips Grider; his daughter Angela Dunmire (Joel); his grandchildren, Robert Robertson, Caitlin Reed and Eric Thompson; his great grandchildren, McKynlee Hemard, Landon Hemard and Hazel Walker; and his caregiver Ina Lee Munro.
