He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Jane Jenkins "Bobby" Perry and Norvin Atterbury "Jack" Perry; his sister Holly; and his wife Patricia Chatham Perry. He is survived by: his children, William Atterbury Perry, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Matthew Frederick Perry of Innsbruck and Tirol; and his siblings, Nancy Perry of Versailles, Kentucky, Philip C. Perry of Fort Lauderdale and Christopher B. Perry.
