She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Faye and Sylvia Martin Courtney Sr. Faye; her daughter Kathy Hafley; her grandson David Allen Spurlock; and her siblings, Ella Maples, Mary Lou Stevens, Mattie Shank, Jimmy Courtney, Billy Courtney, Herman Courtney Jr., Bobby Courtney, Everett Courtney, Danny Courtney and Donnie Courtney.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Ritchie, Linda Arnold, Tony D. Hafley and Glenn Hafley; and her siblings, Ruth Dotson, Kathy Mitchell (Gerry) and Charles Courtney. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
