He was predeceased by: his father Allen Newton. He is survived by: his mother Faye Newton of Sebree, Kentucky.; his wife Angie; his daughters, Laura Prather (Jay) of Lexington and Sarah Melander (Ryan) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Eleanor Prather and Lucy Melander; and his siblings, Angie Duncan (Cliff) of Madisonville, Rodney Newton (Robin) of Henderson and Fred Newton (Melia) of Bowling Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to First Christian Church of Versailles.
