It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jean Burnette of Verona, Kentucky, born in Brookville, Indiana, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Russell and Opal Lavon Butler McMillan; her husband Robert Lee Burnette; her sons, John Arlinghaus and Darrell Wayne Burnette; and her siblings, Lloyd McMillan, Tom McMillan, Carl McMillan, Joyce Harris and Sharyn Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Arlinghaus (Judy) and Richard Lee Burnette; and her siblings, Don McMillan, Russell McMillan and Marlene Martin. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
