It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Lee Alexander (Verona, Kentucky), born in Walton, Kentucky, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sturgeon and Hattie Straub Sturgeon; her husband Carl Eldon Alexander; and her brother Chester Sturgeon. She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Pollack of Union, Karen Nelms of Walton and Paula Alexander-Dorger of Walton. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
