He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Hardin and Cora Campbell Hardin; his son Jimmy Hardin; and his siblings, Mabel Epperson, Annetta Hardin and Charles Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann Fugate Hardin of Vancleve; his children, Margaret Sams (Donnie) of Manchester, William Hardin Jr. (Jeanne) of Manchester and Thurman Joseph Hardin (Marlette) of Nap; his grandchildren, William Hardin III, Alison Haynes, Donnie Wayne Sams, Joey Hardin, Kathy Hardin, Reba Hardin, Melissa Correa, Christina Hardin and Jimmy Hardin Jr.; and his sister Betty Campbell of Scottsburg, Indiana.. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
