She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Jackson and Lorena Simpson Thomas; her husband Orville Herb Polley; and her siblings, Leeta McCall, Charles Allan Thomas, Jack Thomas and John Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Applegate (Paul) of Vanceburg and Butch Polley (Donna) of Vanceburg; and her grandchildren, Cilina Underwood (Trent), Shane Stafford (Samantha), Hank Stafford (Nicky), Lorie Ginn (Keith), Josh Applegate, Corey Lewis (Shelly) and Lucy Owens (Ryan). She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Muses Chapel Church.
