He was predeceased by: his parents, Falmouth Evans and Evelyn Lewis Evans; his wife Janet Lee Evans; his siblings, Joyce Hobbs and Fredrick R. Evans; his siblings-in-law, Paul Bryant, Billy D. Thoroughman and Linda Sue Sartin Evans; and his father-in-law Clinton Fannin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Jane Taylor-Maysville and Sheryl Lee Bond (Sam) of Foster; his sisters, Doris Thoroughman-Flemingsburg, Pat Bryant-South Portsmouth and Sandy Bartee-Yale (Ezra); his great grandchild Avery Gilvin; and his mother-in-law Hazel Fannin of Camp Dix.
