He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Polley (Russell); his grandson Christopher David Burns (Ashley); his siblings, Archie Swearingen (Jean), Gypsy Cooper and Jessie Lykins; his sisters-in-law, Charlene Swearingen and Gartha Swearingen; his daughter Janice Ross; his siblings, John "Brick" (Debbie), Bruce (Mary), Creighton, Dudley (Janie), Tom and Carrie (Melvin); and his siblings-in-law, Ernest, Charles, John, James Lee Stafford, Vernon Cooper and Martha.
