He was predeceased by: his mother Olive Dummitt Ruark; and his wife Vena Pearl Osborne Ruark. He is survived by: his brothers, Glenn Ruark and Gary Ruark; his daughter Ashley Lucas (David) of Vanceburg, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Brennan, Jerra and Ransam Lucas.
