He is survived by: his sons, David Kelly Pennington (Rachel) of Prestonsburg and Michael Jeffrey Pennington of Van Lear, Kentucky; his close friend Patricia Disalvo; and his siblings, Elwood Pennington of Staffordsville, Wayne Pennington of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Carol Parker of Springfield, Dollie Wright of Flat Gap, Kentucky and Phyllis Saylor of Flat Gap, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
