He was predeceased by: his father Evan Akers. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Sue Hamilton Akers of Teaberry; his wife Barbara Nutt Akers; his sons, Dwayne O'Bryan of Van Lear, LeRoy O'Bryan of Prestonsburg, Herbert O'Bryan of Ohio and Shane O'Bryan of Georgetown, Kentucky; and his siblings, Stacy Akers of Lawrence County, Kentucky, Bonnie Faye Bryant of Teaberry and Linda Sue Akers of Paintsville, Kentucky. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
