He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Josephine Gauthier, Clementina Strong, Richard Herrera, Sam Herrera and Veronica "Vickie" Herrera; his children, Diana Herrera-Hansen, Thomas Herrera, Bernedette Herrera, Peter Herrera and Vanesha Butler; and his grandchildren, Azur Herrera, Erin Kangar, Joselyn Winter, Jackie Waller, Anthony Herrera and Alexis Butcher. He was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
