She was predeceased by: her parents, Challie Pelphrey and Malta Jewell Rice Pelphrey; her husband Robert George Blanton; and her siblings, Agnes Pelphrey VanHoose, Kelse Edward "Bud" Pelphrey, Betty Evelyn Pelphrey McKenzie, Robert Challie Pelphrey and Jack Daker Pelphrey.

She is survived by: her sister Mabel Ilene Pelphrey Hazelette of Hager Hill, Kentucky; and her sister-in-law Jennie Pelphrey of Staffordsville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends.
