He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Arnett and Maudie Howard Arnett Flint; his wife Zandra Kindle Arnett; his siblings, Sally Wireman, Morris Arnett and Ray Arnett; and his brothers-in-law, Dirl Wireman and Everly Wheeler.

He is survived by: his daughter Arrena Murphy (Shawn) of Palm Bay, Florida; his siblings, Curt Arnett (Jean), Sideny Arnett (Barbara) of Wabash, Indiana, Lillian Wheeler and Sandy Lewis (Don) of Staffordsville, Kentucky; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Arnett of Wabash and Dorothy Arnett of North Liberty, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brandon Holbrook (Kristin) of Bryan and Makita Wallen of Palm Bay, Florida; his stepgranddaughters, Amanda Cain of Ranson and Megan Mondshour (James) of St. Cloud, Florida; his great grandchildren, Payten Hall, Talon Holbrook, Brighton Holbrook of Bryan, Madalynn, Robert of Ranson and James IV of St. Cloud, Florida; and his caregivers, Anthony "Tater" Bain, Joyce Prater and Kim Bain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
