She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hoitink and Myrtle Einnk Hoitink; and her husband John Louis Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, John Smith Jr. of Deputy, IN., Randy Smith of Lexington, KY and Lori Ann Underwood of Van Lear; and her brother Jerrold Hoitink of Falconer, NY. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
