He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar "Pat" and Fannie Spears Meade. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Collins; and his children, Kevin Lee Meade of Paintsville, Kentucky and Kerri Angela Conley Ratliff (Rick). He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
