With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonita Haney Cook of Van Lear, Kentucky, who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin D. Roosevelt Haney and Emma Clida Hensley Bright; her daughter Marlena Michelle Haney Flinchum; and her sister Tina Louise Haney Miller. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Cook of Van Lear, KY; her daughters, Anita Cook Gilbert of Wittensville, KY, Rhonda Sue Cook Richmond of Paintsville, KY and Bonita Tanika Lashay Grass of River, KY; and her sisters, Nickie Lynn Wells (Ronnie) of Staffordsville, KY, Christy Leedy (Will), Lisa W. Rose (Floyd) of Louisa, KY and Dovanda Mills (Jimmy) of Tutor Key, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
