The memory of William E. Mauzy of Utica, Kentucky, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Mauzy and Ellen Abney Mauzy; and his siblings, JP, Shirley Mauzy and Virene Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Wagner Mauzy; his daughters, Lisa Thompson and Teresa Westerfield (Bruce); his stepson David Waters; his grandchildren, Paige Thompson, Jesse Thompson (Taylor), Allie Thompson, Bryson Westerfield (Amber) and Garrett Westerfield; his great grandchildren, John Byron Thompson and Baby Westerfield; and his stepgrandchildren, Matt and Samantha Waters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
