With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Merritt Faught of Utica, Kentucky, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Martin and Joyce Leath; her husband Charles Merritt Sr.; and her children, Debra Westerfield, Charles Merritt Jr. and Randall Merritt.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina VanBussum (Joey); her grandchildren, Jennifer Lester (George), Jeremy Anderson, James Wendell Anderson and Jason Westerfield (Tara); her great grandchildren, Dakota, Charles, Mariah, Raelynn and Katie; her siblings, Doris Pickle and Bobby Scarberry; and her friend Nora Stanley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
