He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Bowlds and Anna Howard Bowlds; his granddaughter Anna Elise Bowlds; his brother Cecil Bowlds; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Bowlds and Melvin Vanover.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Bowlds; his children, Kevin Bowlds (Twyla) of Columbia, TN and Stefanie Lysyj (Alex) of Akron, OH; his granddaughter KaraLynn Bevis (Kris) of Florence, AL; and his siblings, Virgil Bowlds (Connie) of Owensboro, KY, Shirley Vanover of Owensboro, Carolyn Dickens (Ronnie) of Beech Grove, KY, James Bowlds of Redhill, KY and Billy Bowlds (Carolyn) of Redhill, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
