She was predeceased by: her father Joseph E. Bowlds; her brothers, Joseph Bowlds, James Bowlds and Herman 'Snookie Bowlds; and her stepfather Elmer Connor.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Johnson; and her children, Lisa Stiles (Duane) of Owensboro, Vicki Ammons (Ricky) of Hartford and Ricky Chappell (Sherrie) of Owensboro. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
