He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Winford and Lila Shofner Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hampton; his son Tim Hampton (Stephanie) of Utica; and his siblings, David Hampton of Louisville, Patsy Riveria of Albuquerque and Charlotte Parker of Louisville. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
