It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Wheeler Helton of Utica, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Parish Wheeler and Mary Simmons Wheeler of Utica; her siblings, Ruth Henderson, Ida Kemp, Mary Rouse, Melvina Reynolds, Wanda Whittaker, Hardwick "Doc" Wheeler and Everett "Scootie" Wheeler; her grandson Dr. Randall E. King; her former husband B. Sterling Ambrose; and her close friend Don White.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Wheeler of Dyer, IN and Carolyn Cook of Louisville; her children, Nancy King, Nelda Sinnett (Donald), Linda Chesney (Martin) and Baron Ambrose; and her grandchildren, Danette King Preston, Cindy King Hamilton (Mike), Teresa Sinnett Snow (James), Pamela Sinnett Hendricks (Marc), Kevin Sinnett (Anna Sowders), Susan Chesney Baughn (Mike), Rebecca Chesney Ballard (Bill), Tony Chesney (Stacey) and Ashley Ambrose King. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; 30 step great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
