She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Wood Sr. and Virginia Louise Staples Wood. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Smith (Jeremy) and Jeff Towery; her grandchildren, Katie, Sophie, Isabella, Ben, Abby and Makenna; and her siblings, Larry Wood (Shannon), Chris Wood, Wendell Wood, Jr. (Mary Jane) and Tony Wood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
