She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Sutherland and Lucy Sutherland; her brothers, Gene, Tommy and Charles Sutherland; her grandson Danny Holmes; and her daughter-in-law Cendy Holmes.
She is survived by: her husband David W. Holmes; her sons, Jessie Wayne Holmes (Lisa) of Tennessee, Larry Holmes (Janet) of Owensboro, Timmy Holmes (Shannon) of Nuckols and David M. Holmes (Kris) of Utica; and her siblings, Sue Ruby (Curly) of Benton, Carl Sutherland (Linda) of Utica, Larry Joe Sutherland (Rita) of Magan, James Sutherland (Juanita) of Owensboro and Coy Sutherland of Owensboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
