She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Cook and Juanita Whitaker Kessinger; her sons, Joseph Michael Tong Jr. and Gregory Allen Tong; and her sister Verinda "Sissie" Ritchie.

She is survived by: her husband Bryan Hodges; her daughters, Misty Field (Gary) of Owensboro and Tonya Meeks (Taylor) of Utica; her grandchildren, Cody Field, Lauren Tong, Chance Meeks, Logan Field, Michael Meeks and Haley Tong; her great grandchildren, Paisley Field, Alanna Davis and Mason Davis; and her siblings, Ronnie Cook of Arkansas and Bonita Sue Heyne of Owensboro.
