It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Howard Bland of Utica, Kentucky, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gordon Bland and Ruth Ann Ralph Bland. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Rice-Bland; his children, Curtis Bland (Maria) of Maybee, MI, Cori Bland (Dorothy) of Atlanta, GA and Kady Bland of Nashville; his grandchild Avery Bland; his stepchildren, Ed Rhinerson, Tom Rhinerson (Teresa), Jimmy Rice (Brandy), Dana Evans (Floyd) and Crystal Smith (Matthew); and his siblings, Joe Bland (Cathy) of Whitesville, Paul Stephen Bland (Mary Sue) of Owensboro and Veronica "Ronnie" Conley (Steve) of West Virginia. He is also survived by 19 step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
