It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Wendell Marksberry of Utica, Kentucky, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Marksberry; and his siblings, Peggy Jeffers, Mary Lee Poole, Betty Shelton, Rachael Kirtley, Mildred Crowe, Sam, Gene, Paul and John Marksberry.
He is survived by: his pet U. K. Basketball; his wife Joyce Ambrose Marksberry; his children, Pamela Stirewalt of Ashville, NC, Sarah Maddox (Ben), Joe Marksberry (Crystal) of Utica, KY, Eddie Marksberry (Lori) of Louisville, Jimmy Marksberry (Lauri) of Owensboro and Casey Marksberry (Amber) of Owensboro; his stepdaughter Tracy Stieff (Scott) of Reynolds Station; and his brother Harvey Marksberry, Jr. of Owensboro. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
