He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorena Q. Atherton; his children, Clint Atherton, Dena Atherton of Utica and Kelsey Clouse (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Hadley Mae Clouse and Mason Daniel Clouse; and his siblings, J. M. Atherton of Calhoun and Gertrude Knott of Owensboro. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
