He was predeceased by: his father John C. Howard; and his sister Mary Ellen Howard. He is survived by: his children, Misty Peay (Tim) of Utica and Brian Howard (Sabrina) of Hartford; his grandchildren, Austin Peay, Caleb Howard, Cecily Peay and Brilynn Howard; and his siblings, Joyce Murphy, Linda Kitchens, Dennis Howard, Becky Cheatham (Chuck), Bruce Howard, Kathy Adkins and Alan Howard (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
