He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Medford and Rachel Jane Young (Brannon). He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Davis of Jackson; his friend Jonah Willingham; his brother-in-law Lawrence Davis; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Young-Solomon, Bertha Louise Young, Clara Jane Young-Huff, William Henderson Young, Sr., Harry T. Young and Rev. James Robert Young, Sr.; and his sons, Squeaky and Charles, Jr. (Each Sunday) of Pleasant Ridge, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
He held the position as Treasurer for many years, even though he did not physically attend church during "Covid 19", he was still able to maintain his position.
He has received many accolades for his contribution to the U.S. Armed Forces.
