In loving memory of Charles Herbert Young Sr. (Utica, Kentucky), born in Youngstown, Ohio, who departed this world on June 24, 2024 at the age of 101. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Medford and Rachel Jane Young (Brannon). He is survived by : his wife Lula Mae Davis of Jackson; his friend Jonah Willingham; his brother-in-law Lawrence Davis; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Young-Solomon, Bertha Louise Young, Clara Jane Young-Huff, William Henderson Young, Sr., Harry T. Young and Rev. James Robert Young, Sr.; and his sons, Squeaky and Charles, Jr. (Each Sunday) of Pleasant Ridge, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Point Missionary Baptist Church (3723 KY-764, Utica, KY 42376). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Point Baptist Church (3723 KY-764, Utica, KY 42376). The military honors will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at the Pleasant Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (3723 KY-764, Utica, KY 42376). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at the same location. He held the position as Treasurer for many years, even though he did not physically attend church during "Covid 19", he was still able to maintain his position.

He has received many accolades for his contribution to the U.S. Armed Forces.
