It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine B. Acton of Utica, Kentucky, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clovis Barnes and Eva Morton Barnes; her son Frank Acton; and her grandson Brian Acton. She is survived by: her daughters, Vivian Griffith of Owensboro and Deborah Riley of Utica; her grandchildren, David Hogg (Kay) of Owensboro, Tracy Curry (William) of Owensboro, Scott Hogg (Kim) of Owensboro, Michael Acton (Kim) of Owensboro, Tessa Shemwell of Owensboro, Stevan Acton-Clark (Jalai) of Owensboro, Marcilene Hogg of Louisville and Tanya Acton of Owensboro; her daughter-in-law Glenda Marie Acton; and her close friend Wimmy Greer of Owensboro. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren.
