He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Armour; his brothers, Darrell Armour, Bobby Armour and David Armour; and his brothers-in-law, H. C. Thompson and Orville Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Greta Armour; his children, Shane Armour (Kelly), Allen Armour and Kym Hemenway (Cliff); and his sisters, Gustava Thompson and Jean Goodwin (Hural). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
