It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Earl Poole of Utica, Kentucky, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Edward Poole and Mary Elizabeth Lambert Poole; and his brother Archie Poole Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Moore Poole; his children, Jeffrey Poole (Brenda) and Genny Johnson (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Erin Johnson (Andrew), Hunter Troutman (Bailey), Heather Drury (Josh), Manda Johnson, JoAnna Krampe (Alex), Ethan Poole (Taylor) and Mikaela Poole (Tanner Shock). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
