He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnetta Gardner Ard; his parents, Arthur Uell Ard and Ethel Roten Ard Hawk; and his siblings, Ruth Turner, Allen Ard and James Ard.
He is survived by: his daughter Reba Doyle (Wayne) of Upton; his grandson Chris Doyle (Lacey) of Hodgenville; his brothers, Tom Ard of Hodgenville and Coman Ard (Charlotte) of Magnolia; and his great grandchildren, William DeWayne Doyle and Amelia Grace Doyle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
