He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Duke and Nora Cruse; and his sisters, Susie Cruse Gaddie, Myrtle Cruse Jaggers and Nancy Cruse.
He is survived by: his wife Alzena Reynolds Cruse of Upton; his daughters, Susan Payne (Steve) of Hodgenville, Pam Smith (Dave) of Lebanon and Rhonda Casenhiser (Marc) of Hodgenville; and his grandchildren, Chad Skaggs, Brandon Payne, Kevin Payne, Scott Davenport and Tyler Davenport. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
