It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Carby of Upton, Kentucky, born in Big Clifty, Kentucky, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Carby and Nancy Allen Carby; his wife Loretta L. Carby; and his brothers, Norman Carby and Kenneth Carby.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Carby of Munfordville, KY and Karen Hayse (David) of Beaver Dam, KY; his siblings, Geraldene Priddy of Sonora, KY and Larry Carby (Diana) of Alabaster, AL; his grandchildren, Aaron, Tara, Chase, Makynzee, Riley, Daric, Claudia and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Braxten.
The family requests that every visitor wear a mask or face cover and practice social distancing.
