He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dewitt and Estill Dewitt. He is survived by: his wife Betty Dewitt; his children, Mike Dewitt (Teresa), Jerry Dewitt (Brenda), Anita Dillander (Lonnie) and Debbie Crawford; his stepchildren, Robert Carter (Susie), Arnold Carter (Dorothy), Danny Carter, Carolyn Richards (Chuck) and Rhonda Tomic (Brian); his grandsons, Josh, Thomas, Gregory, Matthew and Jeremiah; and his siblings, Jerry, Terry, Roger, Danny, William Dewitt, Alice, Barbara, Brenda and Sharon. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
