Effie Riggs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2019, Effie Riggs (Upton, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bert Riggs; and her parents, George McRee and Bertha S. Chapman McRee. She is survived by: her children, Janet Jenkins (Bill), Cindy Bailey (Rick), Greg Riggs (Vickie) and Stephen Riggs (Phyllis); her daughter-in-law Ann Riggs of Elizabethtown, KY; and her grandchildren, Randy Riggs (Sheena), Dr. Andrew Jenkins, Sara Rock (Matt), Ben Jenkins (Carina), Josh Bailey (Tiffany), Jacob Riggs (Amy), Jennifer Tucker (Dennis) and Jasmine Knight (Isaac). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery or Alzeheimers Association.
